The Virginia Tech/Montgomery Regional Airport Authority operates The Virginia Tech/Montgomery Executive Airport. The Authority is made up of members of four entities, which include Virginia Tech, Montgomery County, and the towns of Christiansburg and Blacksburg.

From Roanoke on I81 (north of Blacksburg):

• Follow I81 south to Exit 118B (the Virginia Tech exit).
• Exit and follow Rt. 460 bypass to Blacksburg.
• Turn right at the light onto Southgate Drive and proceed one mile.
• Turn right onto Tech Center Drive, which is immediately across from the football stadium.
• Proceed 1.25 miles on Tech Center Drive to the Airport entrance on the left.

From I81 (south of Blacksburg):

• Follow I81 north to Exit 118B (the Virginia Tech exit).
• Exit and follow Rt. 460 bypass to Blacksburg.
